Built for companies
that need to deliver

WHY WE STARTED

Building the right team is one of the hardest parts of growing a company. Most leaders we talk to, whether they are CTOs, CEOs, or heads of talent, face the same frustrations. Recruitment agencies that care more about closing deals than finding the right fit. Nearshore vendors that treat hiring like a volume game. Internal hiring processes that work fine until you need to move fast.

We started Talcom because we have experienced these problems ourselves.

Jonas Sluijs spent 16 years building and scaling teams at Meta, eBay, and Snapchat across EMEA. He knows what it is like to have ambitious growth plans but not enough hiring capacity to execute them. And he has seen how the wrong hiring partner can slow you down instead of helping.

Guy Beuvery built an IT services company from the ground up, scaled it to 100 people, and sold it to private equity. He learned early that the only thing that matters in service businesses is whether you actually deliver. When vendors focus on sales targets instead of client problems, the relationship breaks down.

We kept seeing companies face the same challenge. They needed a partner who would think about their business the way they do, not just send over a pile of CVs and call it done.

We treat hiring as a strategic problem, not a procurement task. The question is not “can you find us engineers?” but “how do we build the team we need to reach our goals in the next 6 to 12 months?”

When we start working with a company, we first understand where the business is going, what is slowing it down, and what success looks like for the people we are hiring. Sometimes that means talking about team structure or role design before sourcing starts.

Once we know what you are trying to achieve, we build a hiring plan. It shows team composition, timeline, transparent costs, and how we would integrate new people into your existing setup. You see our approach before we execute it.

Then we go find the right people. Sometimes that means local hires, sometimes relocation, sometimes a nearshore team. We optimize for what works within your constraints, not what is easiest for us.

The people we hire become part of your team. They report to you, use your tools, and join your meetings. We take care of payroll, benefits, and compliance.

If something does not work out, we fix it. We monitor integration in the first 30 to 60 days and replace anyone who is not the right fit.

Talcom is an international team with experience across tech recruitment, global relocation, and nearshore delivery. Many of us have lived and worked abroad, so we understand what it takes to move people across borders and build teams that operate across locations.

What makes us work well together is focus. Everyone here is driven by the same goal: helping our clients execute. We are known for being fast and pragmatic. When someone needs something done, we figure it out rather than explaining why it is complex.

WHO WE ARE TODAY

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT

We recruit globally

Our sourcing team works across multiple markets, which means you are not limited to whoever happens to be looking nearby.

We take time to understand your situation

We do not just match keywords to job descriptions. We want to understand where your company is heading, what is blocking you, and how each hire fits your larger goals.

We are not locked into one model

Some hiring partners only do local recruitment. Others only do nearshore teams. We do whatever makes sense for your situation: local hires, international relocation, remote teams, or a mix of these.

We build a plan before we start hiring

Before sourcing, you receive a hiring plan that shows how we think about your team and the outcomes we want to achieve.

WHERE ARE WE GOING

Over the next few years, we are building Talcom into the partner technology companies can rely on for their hardest hiring and team-building challenges. We work with early-stage startups, PE-backed scaleups, and established corporates.

Our base is in Europe, but we recruit and place people globally. The vision is simple. When you need to scale a team, enter a new market, or build new capability fast, we are the partner you call because you know we will figure it out with you.

FAQs

What services does Talcom provide?

We help companies scale through three core services: global recruitment, seamless relocation, and embedded nearshore teams.

What types of roles do you specialize in?

We focus on technology, data, and operational roles. This includes software engineers, data engineers, ERP/CRM specialists, and leadership positions in tech and operations.

How does Talcom’s nearshore model work?

Our engineers are full team members, not contractors. They work in your systems, follow your processes, and join onsite regularly. This combines cost efficiency with integration.

Where are your nearshore teams based?

We operate from Serbia, chosen for its strong STEM talent pool, cultural proximity to Western Europe, and easy travel connections with the Netherlands.

How do you ensure legal and data compliance?

Contracts are governed by Dutch law, fully GDPR-compliant, and supported by Data Processing Agreements where needed. Client data stays within client systems.

How fast can you deliver a team?

Depending on role seniority, we typically place individual hires within 4–6 weeks and can build full teams in under 2 months.

Do engineers work onsite or remotely?

Both. Engineers are primarily remote but travel onsite for one week every other month. This hybrid model balances cost efficiency with collaboration.

What makes us different?

We don’t just fill seats. We design the hiring process, embed engineers into your team, and stay accountable for long-term performance, not short-term placement.

Who are your clients?

We work with corporates, scaleups, and PE-backed companies. Clients include Reddit, Aegon, Decathlon, Royal Terberg, and Visualfabriq.

What is your mission?

Our mission is to be your tech partner on demand—delivering talent and execution capacity when and where you need it.
